Lives and works between France and Vietnam

Rin Oozora is a Vietnamese contemporary artist whose multidisciplinary practice bridges visual art, symbolic storytelling, and the revival of traditional techniques. Her work navigates the delicate intersection between cultural heritage and modern identity, often drawing from Vietnamese and East Asian philosophies to explore themes of impermanence, transformation, and the beauty of the incomplete.

Specializing in Contemporary Lacquer Art Jewelry, Rin reimagines the ancient Vietnamese lacquer tradition through a modern, wearable format—merging materials like eggshell, gold leaf, and resin into poetic, symbolic forms. Each piece is a one-of-a-kind artwork, not only to be worn but to be lived with, carried, and remembered.

Her visual language is further expressed through digital painting and conceptual series such as the Ensō & Lotus Collection, where Zen aesthetics meet organic symbolism. Whether through lacquer, ink, or illustrated narratives, Rin’s creations act as meditations—on light, loss, memory, and quiet resilience.

Rooted in a life between East and West, Rin’s work invites viewers into a contemplative space—where tradition is not preserved in glass, but reborn through touch, time, and imagination.
